problems, problems (rated 2 stars)

by Angela Robinson

In the last season of The L Word, the show lost everything that made it interesting to watch. The soap opera elements overwhelmed everything else, and the characters turned into complete clichés, behaving like mechanical puppets, moving at the absurd whim of the writers.

Does anyone understand why Jenny Schecter had any friends at all? Why did people keep forgiving and forgetting? In real life this would never happen, but I guess that’s just another soap opera element that made this last season so lame.

I still thought it was worth watching to find out how everything turned out, but it didn’t keep my attention.
