Avatar has three-dimensional effects, but the characters and plot are one-dimensional. If you saw the trailer, you’ve seen the movie. What a yawn.

I went for a short hike at Blue Hills Reservation. It was a gray day, and sections of the trails are flooded. I only saw a few small patches of snow left.
